Sony Xperia Arc


Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc unveiled at CES 2011




The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is the latest Xperia device based on Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread OS. It is the first smartphone that comes equipped with advanced display technology powered powered by Sony's Bravia Engine – the display common with Sony's televisions.



The device measures just 8.7mm thick and features a 4.2-inch display, 8.1 megapixel camera with Sony's Exmor CMOS sensor and 1080p HD video recording via an HDMI-out connection. The device offers stereo Bluetooth, a digital media player with TrackID and WebKit browser.

The other key features of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc include Wi-Fi, A-GPS, text and multimedia messaging, Microsoft Exchange e-mail, USB mass storage, PC syncing, 512MB of internal memory and loads of Google apps. 

Although, Sony Ericsson has introduced the first member of its new Xperia family at CES 2011, everyone must be eagerly awaiting to meet the Sony's fabledPlaystation Phone.

The Sony Ericsson Arc is expected to be released later this quarter.
